01DAY 1Welcome to Tokyo+
Welcome to Japan! After completing airport formalities, meet the arrangements for your shared shuttle transfer to the hotel in Tokyo. Settle into your accommodation and enjoy the rest of the day at leisure. Explore nearby streets, sample Japanese cuisine or relax after your journey. In the afternoon, check the tour information provided at the hotel for details about the following day's programme.
02DAY 2Tokyo City Tour+
Discover the contrasts of Japan's dynamic capital on a guided city tour lasting approximately seven hours. Stop at Zojoji Temple for views of Tokyo Tower before seeing the famous Shibuya Crossing from the bus. Continue to Meiji Shrine, a peaceful sanctuary surrounded by greenery. Visit Tokyo Skytree and enjoy panoramic views from the Tembo Deck, subject to operational conditions. Explore Sensoji Temple and Nakamise Street in Asakusa, then pass through Akihabara, famous for anime and electronics, and the upscale Ginza district. In the evening, travel by subway with your guide to Shinjuku. Enjoy a walk through its lively streets before a scheduled dinner at a local restaurant, then return to the hotel by subway.
03DAY 3Tokyo to Kyoto by Bullet Train+
Depart Tokyo early and travel by bullet train to Kyoto, covering approximately 500 kilometres in just over two hours. Discover the former imperial capital and its remarkable cultural heritage. Visit Fushimi Inari Shrine, known for its striking red torii gates, and explore the Kyoto Imperial Palace area. Continue to Kinkaku-ji, the celebrated Golden Pavilion, surrounded by landscaped gardens. Later, stroll through Gion, Kyoto's traditional district, known for its historic streets and geisha culture. Enjoy time to explore at your own pace before settling into your hotel.
04DAY 4Kyoto, Nara and Osaka+
Travel to Nara to visit Todaiji Temple, an important Buddhist landmark housing a monumental Buddha statue. Enjoy the surrounding park, where deer roam freely and provide memorable photo opportunities. Continue to Horyu-ji Temple, a UNESCO World Heritage Site renowned for its historic wooden architecture and religious significance. After lunch, continue to Osaka and check in at your hotel. In the evening, visit Dotonbori, one of Osaka's best-known entertainment and dining districts. Admire its illuminated signs, lively streets and famous food scene.
05DAY 5Departure from Osaka+
Enjoy breakfast before your five-day Japan tour comes to an end. Depending on your departure arrangements, you may continue exploring Osaka independently or proceed to your next destination.
